Organization of MGEN’s general assemblies

With 4 million members, the MGEN (Mutuelle générale de l’Education nationale) is the leading mutual health insurance company in France. For the holding of their AGM in large committee (900 participants!), the MGEN called upon evea… challenge accepted!

The challenge

• Reservation of an emblematic place of the city of Lyon for 2 days of GA
• Transfer and accommodation for 900 people
• Catering management and restaurant reservations
• Execution and installation of the signage

And of course, our team has designed convivial spaces for breaks between two conferences, all in respect of barrier gestures. In short, a real technical and human challenge that has called for all our inventiveness!

The keys to success

To ensure the successful outcome of such a large-scale event, Evea has put together a dream team with specific but complementary skills :

• 2 event project managers to oversee the project from start to finish

• An art director to design the entire on-site signage (tarpaulins, stickers, self-supporting POS, etc.)
• A mythical place with international influence: the superb Halle Tony Garnier!

One more experience

After a year and a half of virtual events, what a pleasure for evea to get back on track! Despite the sanitary restrictions, we could see the smiles behind the masks of the guests, delighted to finally meet in the same place. And what a place! The magic of the Halle Tony Garnier, a historic monument of 17,000 m², has largely contributed to the success of this great event. Delighted with the challenge taken up, our team is already looking forward to doing it again!
